An old and simple song I wrote years ago, that's been laying dormant until recently, when I finally revived and refreshed it with a new set of lyrics, a broader sonic landscape (multiple vocals/harmonies/choir and multiple guitars added) and finally a chance to record it, after getting hold of my own recording gear.
There's more to the meaning of the title and song, but it's basically about how everyone can be overwhelmed by one's own thoughts/ thought-patterns, and how it then can manifest into one's way of acting in life, both towards one-self and others. The urge to really want to be there for someone but you just can't, because the mind is constantly in a totally different place, either because of overthinking, guilt or shame, which can lead to you ending up in a limbo, where option paralysis then insues. And I just realized that this description suddenly got a little dark... Anyway, I hope you'll find positivity and meaning in this song, because it is really meant to do so. Enjoy!
