This dally scamp of a western-ish song started as just a couple of chords and an old melody I wrote some years ago, that slowly evolved into this curiosity, when I finally decided to record what you now hear.
It’s a pretty simplistic song in its instrumental execution, but is dealing with some rather personal topics like inner confusion, escapism, doubt, isolation and the pull of abusing substances. It’s definitely one of my more moody and intimate songs, but it’s also something fresh and honest, maybe even relatable! Let me know if it is and if you want to let me know. Thanks, and enjoy.
