Contrary to its more western/swing/jazzy counterpart, this is a more positive and lighthearted song, both instrumentally and thematically. The single guitar intro of the song gave birth to the rest of this experimental rascal of a rock song and just like “Pt. 1”, this one too evolved into what it is now as the song progressed taking form into this jolly rocky folk ambient piece of music.
Thematically (and lyrically) it is overly simplistic, because it simply didn’t need to be more. It’s about overcoming the negative side of yourself, finding peace with yourself, as what and who you are and that you either try and work with the cards you’ve been dealt in this life or you succumb to your own constant frustration, ultimately surrendering to your own unwanted existence or you start from scratch, rebuilding yourself from the ground up again and try anew. Because it is possible to do so! Always remember that.
